After 20 years’ experience as a Perioperative Nurse and 15 years as a Clinical Informatics Consultant, in 2014 Ms. Annette M. Hadley utilized her knowledge, expertise and creativity to answer a deep personal calling by establishing Abundance Art® LLC. As a trauma survivor and thriver, Ms. Hadley is committed to educating, encouraging, inspiring and supporting others by tapping into each person’s innate creativity. Through Abundance Art, she serves her clients through a variety of online programs, creativity coaching packages and custom commission original fine art paintings as well as a wide assortment of original fine art paintings, stunning photographs, museum quality prints and engaging home furnishings and life style products.
Ms. Hadley is recognized for her success as an Amazon #1 Bestselling author of memoirs, “From Fear to Love How Creativity Saved my Life and Will Change Yours for the Better,” and “From Fear to Love Reflections and Stories for the Sensitive Soul” and the creativity workbook “Not Your Mama’s Mandalas.” With the intention of making a difference in others’ lives, Ms. Hadley passionately shares her own trauma healing stories and reflections, underscoring the beautifully powerful role creativity played and plays in her ongoing healing journey.
Having lived and worked in three countries, traveling to thirty more, Ms. Hadley is well-regarded for giving back to the world through local and international volunteer work. An active member of the Prairie Village Arts Council, she also volunteers for Kansas City based The Learning Club, providing creativity enrichment programs to underserved school aged children. She has traveled to India where she undertook volunteer work assignments in New Delhi, at the Saint Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity’s Prem Daan (“Give Love”) home for destitute and mentally disabled women and men. As an extension of that assignment, she taught basic computer skills to a local women’s empowerment group in Dharamshala, in northern India. She also volunteered in Cartago, Costa Rica, working in a day care center.
In recognition of her exemplary work in her field, Ms. Hadley has received many awards and accolades. Most recently, she was named Top Creative Entrepreneur of the year 2018 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and was inducted into the IAW – International Association of Women) VIP Woman of the Year circle 2017-2018.
Ms. Hadley obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Johnson County Community College in 1978 and later a certification in Perioperative Nursing from 1983 through 2008. She is currently pursuing professional certification in creativity coaching.
