Ontario, Canada – Dr. Archie Sirati is being recognized by Continental Who’s
Who as a Lifetime Achiever for his work in
Geotechnical Engineering and his work at
Dr.
Sirati began his education in the UK in 1977, earning a Bachelor of Science
degree in Civil Engineering in 1986, and graduating with Honors. He then
completed a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from
Loughborough University in 1988 and a Doctorate in Geotechnical Engineering
Program in Cardiff, Wales (UK) in 1992.
Dr.
Sirati has 30 years of working experience in different social, political, and
economic climates, including Europe, the Middle East, and North America. He is
experienced with building relationships with clients, architects, planners,
structural and civil engineers, and others, ensuring the delivery of
cost-effective, sustainable engineering solutions. He works with small, medium,
or large buildings, heavy civil, roads, bridges, slope stability, and landslide
management, along with many other infrastructure projects for a variety of
public and private clients.
Dr.
Sirati is also affiliated with professional associations such as Member of
Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS), Member of Professional Engineers of
Ontario (P.Eng., PEO), Chartered Member of Institute of Civil Engineer, UK
(C.Eng., MICE), Member of Ground Engineering Group (Wales, UK) and Member of
International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
After
many years of experience with large consulting firms, in 2015, Dr. Sirati
established his own small firm of Sirati & Partners Consultants Ltd (SIRATI) with big ambitions leading the SIRATI team to diversify the business
to provide in-house, end-to-end services, minimizing outsourcing and providing
an integrated platform of services for their clients.
Today,
Dr. Sirati’s company, with over 50 well-qualified engineers, geoscientists, and
other professional staff, provides a wide range of engineering services. This
includes Geotechnical & Pavement Engineering, all aspects of Environmental,
Geo-Environmental and Hydrogeological studies, Material Technology, Inspection
& Testing (QA/QC) services, Instrumentation and Monitoring, Engineering
Design and more. Its state-of-the-art laboratory facility spreading over a
20,000 square feet space provides all aspects of material testing, including
concrete and asphalt testing, asphalt mix compliance & mix design, penetration
of asphalt cement, aggregate laboratory testing and quality control, soil &
rock property determination, and more.

Dr. Sirati has a strong link with research and development programs, and
through its R&D division, its company provides modern technology in
tackling environmental challenges using technologies such as graphene-based
Nanomaterials and composites in remediation called GRAFTATM . GRAFTA is
patented technology exclusively provided by Dr. Sirati’s team taking advantage
of the extraordinary absorptive capacity of graphene and graphene oxide at
nano-scale accommodated on recycled micro-scale material. GRAFTA removes heavy
metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium and many challenging organic compounds
such as PCE, TCE, PFAS, BTEX and Petroleum Hydrocarbons down to non-detectable
levels.
