A board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Mrs. Uzoma has over 12 years of experience in the healthcare field. In addition to her mental health specialty, she also has a certification as a wound care consultant. She is the CEO of Chimark Healthcare Services LLC, a telehealth, mobile-friendly mental health clinic where she manages clients with mental health disorders. She is also the CRNP-PMH in both Excellent Healthcare and PRP Services and Mindbloom Medical Group, providing assessments of patients with mental health issues and therapeutic options for them. In pursuit of her healthcare career, Mrs. Uzoma obtained her Nursing diploma from Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (ESUTH) Parklane, in Enugu, Nigeria. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. In furthering her education, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University, based in Minneapolis, MN. She is board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Among her professional affiliations, Mrs. Uzoma is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She is also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. In her free time, Mrs. Uzoma enjoys volunteering with Sister Fellowship International, assisting the underprivileged.
Known for her compassion, active listening, and empathy, Mrs. Uzoma takes great pride in helping her patients overcome their struggles with mental illness. She developed and nurtured a great sense of care and compassion for other people from a young age. She attributes this trait to her success as a healthcare professional.
She wishes to thank her father, Chief Ambrose Anioke, and her aunt, Violet Okereke, for all of their support. She also extends her love and appreciation to her husband of 10 years, Nedd Uzoma, and their three boys.
