Dr. Daniel Penello, a fellowship-trained and double Board-Certified orthopedic hand surgeon, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complicated disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow. He has devoted over ten years serving the St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Tampa Bay communities. In his current position as Partner with Alexander Orthopaedic Associates in Florida, he continuously strives to create an excellent patient experience and utilizes state-of-the-art technology and surgical techniques to enhance recovery and patient outcomes.  Dr. Penello is in good company with his partners at Alexander Orthopaedic Associates. The board-certified surgeons at the distinguished practice are sub-specialty trained in multiple areas of orthopedics including Hip, Knee, Spine, Foot and Ankle, Shoulder, Hand, Wrist, and Elbow. Alexander Orthopaedic Associates is a recognized leader in the community and is respected for setting the standard for outpatient orthopaedic care. These leading edge procedures are comfortably performed in their state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Dr. Penello’s expert understanding of hand anatomy, physiology and function, combined with years of clinical experience and extensive scientific research, led him to develop the Carpal Comfort line of products which has enhanced the treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
