David Schofield is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Business Leaders. David is Lead OSS Solutions Consultant and Assurance Architect with Cable & Wireless Worldwide.
David has been contributing to the field of telecommunications for 25 years. With his current company, Cable & Wireless Worldwide, he has spent the last 2 ½ years working on OSS development across existing legacy networks and emerging Next Generation Network.
David’s experience in the industry has given him understanding of the necessity for balancing Next Generation Networks with legacy networks to ensure a smooth transition. He is extremely proficient in the areas of voice and data networks for fixed and mobile operators as well as Internet Service Providers (BSS/OSS). His position at Cable & Wireless Worldwide also affords him opportunities to evaluate investment priorities with the arrival of Next Generation Networks and the resolution of prior OSS legacy issues.
Prior to joining Cable & Wireless in 2007, David had spent his career working for many large UK communications service providers, including BT. He also worked with
operators in Belgium, France and Hungary. In addition, David has also worked in various other commercial sectors, including utilities such as water and electricity, finance and commerce.
In the future, David looks to make a transformation within his company to expand its client base on a more global level. He hopes to reach more clients and customers, and share his legacy on a larger scale. He continues to prove he is a leader in the field of telecommunications with a vision to transform his company.
