Ahmed Eldib, BDS, DDS

Ann Arbor, MI — Ahmed Eldib, BDS, DDS, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Dentist for his outstanding contributions in the field and his professional excellence at New Era Dental and Smile Zone Dental.

Having led an impressive career for over 20 years, Dr Ahmed Eldib began his dental journey in 1996 by joining the Faculty of Oral and Dental Surgery at Cairo University, Egypt. He graduated in 2001 with Bachelors in Dental Surgery B.D.S. degree. Following his graduation, Dr. Eldib completed two years of General Practice Residency (GPR) at Cairo university educational hospitals and associated facilities. 

After practicing for a few years in private practice in Cairo, he relocated to the United States in 2006. He got to know and work with his mentor Dr. Bill Dodson, a well-known endodontist in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In 2011, he attended The International Dentist Program “IDP” at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry, and graduated in 2013 with his second degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery D.D.S. degree.  

Following his medical training, Dr. Eldib joined one of the largest dental corporates in the United States, where he owned and operated multiple offices in Michigan starting 2013 till 2017. He gained valuable managerial experience and efficiently ran multiple dental offices with multiple doctors and specialists. In addition, he was exposed to different clinical strategies on how to approach complicated cases. He and his team strived to help patients get the best treatment available with the most cost-effective treatment plans available.

In March 2018, he opened New Era Dental in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he is devoted to offering the highest standard of dental care utilizing state of the art technologies and an in-house lab. Dr. Eldib offers his advanced cosmetic dentistry training, endodontics, dental implants, facial esthetics, T.M.J. disorders, & laser dentistry to his patient. 

Alongside his current role, Dr. Eldib joined forces in 2019 with two well-known prosthodontists and they established Smilezone Dental group, with two branches in the Canton and Fort Gratiot cities in Michigan. Additionally, he currently serves as the senior General Dentist on the clinical board of the group practice.

In light of his academic and clinical achievements, Dr. Eldib is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics & the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, which demonstrates his dedication to education and improvement for his patients’ benefit. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Eldib has been proud to have worked and mentored by some of the greatest world-renowned specialists such as Dr. Laskin, a world-renowned oral surgeon at Virginia Commonwealth University (V.C.U.), and Dr. Afify, who is one of the few board-certified Prosthodontists in the state of Michigan. Moreover, he enjoys working with his dedicated staff, who have helped him achieve his career goals throughout the years, such as Kelley Varga, Mike Schaaf, his operations managers, and Ashley Hammack, his lead assistant.

Dr. Eldib dedicates this honorable recognition to Dr. William Dodson, a well-known endodontist in Virginia.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Eldib enjoys fishing, skeet and trap shooting, grilling, and spending time with his family. He is married to his wife Elizabeth, and they have three kids, Yusef, Aaliyah, and Yasmeen.
