Executive Press ReleaseALI BARODAWALA - GLOBAL VICE PRESIDENT
Alpharetta, GA - Ali Barodawala, prominently featured in The Inner Circle, is recognized as a Pinnacle Professional Member of the Inner Circle of Excellence for his contributions to commercial growth and AI-enabled innovation.
Mr. Barodawala serves as Vice President of Customer and Commercial Technologies at The Coca-Cola Company, where he owns the global digital product and platform portfolio across the customer and commercial domains. He has held this role since March 2025, leading digital professionals worldwide and advising senior leaders on digital strategy, technology investments, and operating model design.
His most substantial contributions have been in the commercial technology domain. Over the past five years, Mr. Barodawala has delivered a sequenced portfolio of growth, margin, and productivity programs spanning pricing, trade promotion optimization, AI-led suggested order, loyalty, portfolio optimization, and cold drink equipment. Revenue growth management (RGM) sits at the center of that work. He has since led the transformation of B2B ordering, embedding AI and intelligent agents into commercial workflows so that pricing, promotion, and order generation have shifted from analyst-led to AI-agent-generated recommendations adopted in the field.
That growth agenda is paired with financial discipline. Mr. Barodawala led enterprise technology negotiations with partners including Microsoft and SAP, consolidating fragmented contracts and licensing to substantially reduce the negotiated base cost while expanding platform capabilities. He instituted funding gates and demand governance, shifting the portfolio from run-the-business spend toward growth. He led post-acquisition technology integration for Costa Coffee and Innocent, reconciling distinct cultures and systems through a repeatable playbook that eliminated duplicate operating costs within the first year. He also co-led Create Real Magic, Coca-Cola's generative AI consumer campaign, and established the enterprise framework that ties AI adoption to measurable value.
His career reflects a deliberate progression from technical architecture to enterprise leadership. He joined Coca-Cola in 2009 as a lead solution architect, later architecting the company's first cloud-based data and analytics product, establishing the Regional Delivery Center in Sofia, Bulgaria, and instituting the model that transitioned the enterprise from project-based delivery to a product-led structure. Between assignments at Coca-Cola, he served as senior manager of data and analytics at Ernst & Young LLP, leading a global cross-functional team through a multi-year enterprise transformation.
Mr. Barodawala earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from Cornell College and is a TOGAF 9.1 certified enterprise architect. His recognition includes selection for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who (2026). A member of Atlanta National Golf Club, he supports refugee resettlement in metropolitan Atlanta, contributes to local food banks, and backs vetted international humanitarian initiatives.
Mr. Barodawala, who resides in the Atlanta area with his wife, Aliya, and their two children, practices a people-first leadership philosophy centered on adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and measurable value creation. He intends to continue shaping the digital agenda of a global enterprise at the intersection of strategy, AI, and commercial growth.
