Amanda A. Goodhart, BSN, RN, CWOCN, has established a strong career in specialized nursing, focusing on wound, ostomy, and continence care. As a Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse, she provides advanced assessment and management for patients with complex conditions, delivering compassionate, patient centered care within a clinical healthcare setting.

Ms. Goodhart is recognized for her expertise in wound assessment, ostomy and continence care, and patient education. Her work includes supporting individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes, providing discharge teaching for wound self care, and maintaining clear communication with patients and their families. She is also dedicated to interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with healthcare teams to ensure effective and comprehensive care plans.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Ms. Goodhart plays an active role in education and mentorship. She serves as a preceptor for nursing students and healthcare professionals, sharing her knowledge and helping to develop the next generation of nurses. Her collaborative approach has contributed to improved patient outcomes and quality care delivery.

She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Reading School of Health Sciences and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2016. In 2023, she achieved certification as a CWOCN through Web WOC, marking a significant milestone in her professional development.

Ms. Goodhart currently serves as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse Specialist at the Cedar Crest Campus of Lehigh Valley Health Network. She began her career in WOC nursing at Tower Health and has continued to expand her expertise in this specialized field. She is also an active member of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society.
