Amelie earned her Ph.D. in Labor Economics and Econometrics from Vanderbilt University and also holds a M.A. in Economic Development from the University of Paris II. Furthermore, Amelie also received her B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Athens, Greece.
She is a member of the American Economic Association and the Population Association of America.
