Nashville, TN — Andrew Martin Grayson, MHA, CMNT, CNA, CAPM, is being recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Person of Influence, acknowledging his work as the Founder and Owner of Six Pack Coverage.
Mr. Grayson has worked in the healthcare field for the last seven years, covering a wide variety of specialties, including research, direct patient care, diagnostic scans, and various nuclear medicine procedures. Mr. Grayson is well versed in his industry, working at leading health care facilities such as Vanderbilt University and HCA, both located in Nashville, TN. When the COVID-19 pandemic started, he decided to further his education and knowledge of healthcare by obtaining his Master of Health Administration and pursuing the entrepreneurial spirit and starting his own digital multi-media company, Six Pack Coverage, founded in June 2020.
After moving back into his parents' home during the pandemic, Mr. Grayson launched Six Pack Coverage out of his childhood bedroom while simultaneously working and enrolled in a rigorous academic curriculum. Nearly two years later, his business is still in operation and has since grown from a small bedroom closet into his new home in Nashville. Headquartered in Nashville, TN, Six Pack Coverage is a sports and entertainment media company bringing viewers trending news topics across six important aspects. The company got its name because of the six areas of news it features: Sports, Fitness, Finance, Food/Travel, Entertainment, and College. Mr. Grayson runs Six Pack Coverage full time and hopes to continue to pursue a career in healthcare simultaneously as a project manager and eventual leadership role in a hospital such as a CEO or COO.
After obtaining his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2016 from the University of Tennessee, Mr. Grayson studied Nuclear Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Following his tenure at Vanderbilt, he pursued his Master of Health Administration, graduating top of his class in 2021 from Austin Peay State University with high honors. Mr. Grayson is currently pursuing his project management certification and is currently certified with the Nuclear Medicine Board.
Early in his career, Mr. Grayson served as a Resident Assistant at the University of Tennessee, where he credits the foundation of his leadership skills and being a CNA, where he learned his foundation of patient care. Post-college, Mr. Grayson excelled at Vanderbilt University, studying nuclear medicine. His responsibilities included preparing and injecting radiopharmaceuticals for various procedures and diagnostic scans. While studying at Vanderbilt, Mr. Grayson also researched CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) and received first place at their annual regional conference for his presentation of studies and research. He was fortunate enough to study and learn from leading neuropathologists at Harvard and MIT to better treat and learn about CTE. Following Vanderbilt, Mr. Grayson pursued his MHA degree, where he graduated top of his class, excelling in courses such as Health Law, Policy, Economics and Strategic Management.
Among his professional affiliations, Mr. Grayson is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and the American Heart Association.
Mr. Grayson attributes his success to hard work and dedication. In accounting for his success, Mr. Grayson credits his propensity to diligence and hard work and his ability to learn from previous failures. Respectfully, he loves to outwork his competition and understands the value that success is not made overnight or even in a year's time. He enjoys reading motivational and self-help books to better learn and push himself outside of his nature. Mr. Grayson aims to be placed in challenging roles in leadership positions as he is best suited and can succeed when challenged.
Civically engaged, Mr. Grayson has long been active as a coach and volunteer for Best Buddies Tennessee since 2011, a special needs organization in middle Tennessee. He currently serves as a board member for the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Master of Healthcare Administration advisory council. Additionally, Mr. Grayson's favorite accomplishment was his achievement as Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America in 2009.
On a personal note, Mr. Grayson is an avid guitar and piano player, enjoys exercising, reading, backpacking and traveling, but most importantly, spending time with his Blue Heeler dog, Cooper.
