West Palm Beach, FL- Anne C. Fischer, MD, PhD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Doctor in the field of Pediatrics and for her outstanding work ethic as Pediatric Surgeon at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.
Leading an impressive career for over twenty-eight years, Dr. Fischer is one of the best surgeons in Palm Beach County, specializing in advanced minimally invasive laparoscopy and complex neonatal surgeries.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Fischer received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in chemistry and math at the University of North Carolina and a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) at Johns Hopkins Medical School. She trained as an intern and surgical resident at Johns Hopkins Medical School, completing a pediatric surgical residency at Harvard University’s Boston Children’s Hospital. She then returned to graduate school, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brandeis University.
To further her professional development, Dr. Fischer acts as a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and American Board of Pediatric Surgery (ABPS), serving as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
In recognition of her years of service, Dr. Fischer is a Morehead Scholar (UNC Chapel Hill). She has also been the recipient of the Top Doctor Award, Detroit “Hour” (2015, 2014), the Top Doctor in Pediatric Surgery, Castle Connolly Medical Inc. (2014), the Top Doctor Award, Ambassador (2014), the Top 10 Doctor Award, American Registry (2014), and the America’s Top Surgeons, Honors of Distinction and Excellence: Consumer’s Research Council (2012).
