New York, NY- Arlene Neuman, LCSW is recognized by

With
more than twenty-five years of experience as an individual, group, and couples
therapist, Ms. Neuman uses Buddhism and yoga in her modalities. A well
respected voice amongst her peers, Ms. Neuman has extensive experience teaching
and supervising other clinicians at the National Institute for the
Psychotherapies, The Fifth Avenue Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy, and
the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society.
Throughout her education and training, Ms. Neuman received her Bachelor of
Science in psychology from CCNY, Master of Social Work from The Hunter School
of Social Work, and completed her post-graduate work at the Psychoanalytic
Institute for Clinical Social Workers. To enrich her professional repertoire,
Ms. Neuman trained in mindfulness and meditation with John Welwood, and
advanced her approach to couples therapy with Terry Real and the Relational
Life Institute.
Affiliated with Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society, Ms. Neuman has been part
of the Systems Centered Training (SCT), which teaches a transformative
change-based approach to therapy for individuals, groups, and couples for 20
years.
