Ehrlich is a Partner at Goldman & Ehrlich, a law firm located in Chicago, Illinois, that serves the Illinois and United States 7th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. The firm deals with all aspects of employment law, including federal, state and local employment, discrimination, sexual harassment, civil litigation and wrongful termination. Ehrlich has practiced law for a total of more than 30 years.
According to the firm’s website, “for more than 25 years, our partner attorneys have effectively represented and counseled employees and small businesses in actions for wrongful discharge and claims alleging violations of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Sarbanes Oxley, USERRA and the Illinois Human Rights Act, as well as various common law actions.”
Ehrlich earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Boston University, for which he earned Magna cum Laude honors. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from DePaul University for which he also earned honors, and he also studied at Hebrew University in Israel.
In addition to his impressive education, Ehrlich is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Small Business Advisory Council and the Chicago Volunteer Legal Assistant Foundation. He has also presented seminars for the Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois Creditors Bar Association and N.A.T.E.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field, Ehrlich is an AV Preeminent Rated Attorney with Martindale-Hubbell. He is also the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for the top grade in Administrative Law and Procedure and Evidence.
When not working, Ehrlich enjoys basketball, travel, skiing and outdoor sports. He dedicates this recognition to his retired founding partner, Gerald A. Goldman, and to the memory of Steven Gross, his past colleague and mentor.
