Their mission is to provide quality patient care regardless of a person’s social, cultural, or economic status. Their teams of physicians serve their patients with compassion and competence as they remain attentive to their health and well-being.
Retired from private practice, Dr. Haehner is a Board Certified Adult Internist and Nephrologist. She currently serves as Medical Director of The Heart and Soul Clinic where she oversees all operations within the facility. Primarily, she is responsible for developing a comprehensive medical care plan for each patient and ensuring that every member of the team of caregivers, and the patient's family are knowledgeable of the care plan, as well as providing superior patient care. Dr. Haehner hopes to help increase the scope of medical and dental services to uninsured and underinsured patients within her community as she has always gotten great satisfaction from caring for the medical issues of those in need, and grateful to be able to give back to the community.
Remaining abreast of the latest industry developments, Dr. Haehner is an active member of numerous associations including the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. She is also a board member of the Heart and Soul Clinic and an active member at Lifepointe Church. Dr. Haehner is highly involved with other community organizations that serve the same group of the underserved population that is served by the Heart and Soul Clinic. Support from the spiritual community in the area is vital to the Heart and Soul Clinic. The Heart and Soul clinic has a mobile clinic in the form of a 38 foot RV, navigating the unit to certain food pantries in the area such as the Grace Care Center, and Carmel United Methodist Church and run health clinics right on sight bringing health care right where it is needed and partnering with other care groups in the community.
In her free time, Dr. Haehner enjoys riding and caring for her horse, as well as swimming and staying active regularly.
