Fort Washington, PA- Bruce E. Lockman, MD, FAAP is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine as a Pediatrician & Owner of Lockman & Lubell Pediatric Associates.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Lockman has been a family-centered physician since 1976 and specializes in General Pediatrics. At Lockman & Lubell Pediatric Associates, they specialize in medical care for children from birth through 21 years of age.
Dr. Lockman received a Bachelor of Medical Science degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Lockman completed his Pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 1979. Dr. Lockman is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and American Medical Association.Dr. Lockman was elected to the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society while in medical school and has been the recipient of numerous honors : the Mosby Scholarship Award which was given to the top 5 graduates in his medical school class; The Louis, Ida, and Samuel Cohen Award for Scholarship, Ability, and Compassion for Patients; The Leonard M. Hummel Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine; the Gia Nicole Angel Foundation Angel Award in 2013; and he has been selected by his peers as a “Top Doc- General Pediatrics” on several occasions, most recently in 2019.
In his free time, Dr. Lockman enjoys singing, piano, composing, and playing tennis and golf.
In looking towards the future, Dr. Lockman hopes to continue supporting families in helping their children t achieve their full potential.
