Chris founded Major Drama in 1990 as a company to serve the corporate world. Major Drama specializes in corporate training and induction videos (DVD's) as well as providing corporate presenters and other materials for incorporation on websites. They are involved in training staff, promoting companies, and advertising products and services.
Prior to starting Major Drama, Chris was employed by the multi-national advertising agency U.S.P. Needham in the checking department. Even in this position, her desire to write could not be ignored which quickly led her to the copy department. After successfully completing some copywriting assignments, Chris worked her way into Fortune Advertising where she gained experience in retail advertising with the Myer Advertising Department. She then moved on to George Pattersons to work on Target account. She was later hired by J. Walter Thompson as Creative Group Head to work on their biggest account, Kraft, where she was instrumental in gaining the first new business JWT Melbourne had added in 11 years.
As a result of her exceptional professional and creativity, Chris found success in every field she entered from writing and directing, to advertising and production. She used her talents to spearhead a project which involved her naming Big M flavored milk, creating world history in sales directly related to an advertising campaign. She also re-birthed the famous jingle "Happy Little Vegemites" for the Aussie icon spread, Vegemite. These accomplishments, along with many others, led Chris to receive the prestigious New York Clio Award for Creative Excellence, as well as the Melbourne Art Directors Award, and an Australia Mobie Award.
In her spare time, Chris enjoys going to the beach, walking, spending time with friends, writing, and gardening.
