FL ‒ Clinton E. Day, MBA, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Lifetime Achiever for his outstanding
work as a serial entrepreneur, teacher, and editor of the Current in
Entrepreneurship blog.
A
founder of commercial insurance agencies, Mr. Day has 35 years of experience in
teaching, mentoring, and practicing entrepreneurship. Using skills acquired
over thirty years in business, as Founder of three insurance agencies, he now
helps grow lean startup enterprises. In his current capacity, Mr. Day is the
CEO of ERI, Entrepreneurship Resources Institute LLC, which seeks to train the
jobless population in methods of lean startup. He sees this work as a partial
solution to the growing joblessness caused by A. I. automation, the Gig Economy
and COVID-19.
To
pursue his dreams, Mr. Day, who was a graduate of UC Berkeley, returned to
school to earn an encore MBA in Entrepreneurship from Salve Regina University
in Newport, Rhode Island in 2009, and
then took all certificate courses available in entrepreneurship. He was professionally qualified by AACSB, the business school
association, is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, and a Chartered

Mr.
Day is the founder of the entrepreneurship program at the State College of
Florida, and an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at members colleges of
NACCE.com. He is also an author of three books and two educational guides. He
wrote the Bar Charts Entrepreneurship Quick Study Guide found in most college
bookstores.
A
member of Hive Global, the U. S. Association for Small Business and
Entrepreneurship, Mr. Day holds the NACCE President’s Silver Star Award for his
work at community colleges. He also won
a Bronze Star Medal for his service in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War,
and enjoys teaching veterans entrepreneurship for IVMF.
In
his spare time, Mr. Day watches NFL football, boating, playing pickleball,
spending time with friends, mentoring young people, and reading biographies.
His most significant accomplishments are marrying his wife and soulmate Donna
B. Day, his business partner and Doctor of Physical Therapy candidate; and
investing time in new entrepreneurial businesses. Living with “a passionate
purpose,” he hopes to leave a legacy that outlives him ensuring that young
people will succeed in entrepreneurship for years to come.
