CORNELIA HUEBSCHER - CHAIR PERSON FOR WOMEN\'S VETERANS SUBCOMMITTEE

Cornelia Huebscher is recognized by Continental Who’s Who for her outstanding dedication and commitment to Outreach for Veterans.

Cornelia dedicates her time to serving veterans and health care service providers. Her responsibilities include contacting providers regarding policies in relation to VA access and eligibility for health care. Cornelia has exhibited her knowledge in the area of Women Veteran’s issues through her recognition of the importance of veteran’s access to  VA health and mental care without incurring travel expenses. In addition, Cornelia strives to connect veterans who suffer PSD due to MST to service connected disability without having to re-live traumatic events.

Cornelia’s deep understanding of veteran affairs stems from her active duty in the United States Army where she received such honors as the Department of the Army Commendation Medal, Department of the Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Commendation Medal, as well as a Good Conduct Medal.

Additionally, Cornelia is a member of many influential organizations including, NAMI, Vetwow, and the Department of Alaska American Legion. Through her involvement with these affiliations as well as through her dedication to her community, Cornelia has been awarded honors from Sitka’s Against Family Violence as well as an Outstanding Volunteer Award.
