David H. Mauney IV has built a distinguished career as an energy consultant, recognized for his expertise in advancing renewable energy projects that support a cleaner and more sustainable future. His company manages large scale projects through contract oversight, engineering and design support, as well as vital regulatory and policy advocacy.

A graduate of East Carolina University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology with a minor in business. Among his greatest professional achievements is the establishment of RNGA Energy Group, a trading company dedicated to the growth of renewable natural gas markets. In 2017, he acquired a project in Tennessee under the Tennessee Renewable Group, which he successfully developed and sold while paying off all related debts, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Mr. Mauney maintains active involvement in several leading organizations including the Renewable Natural Gas Coalition, the American Biogas Council, the Solid Waste Association of North America, and the United States Enpro Landfill Methane Outreach Program. His ongoing engagement reflects his commitment to responsible innovation and industrywide collaboration.
