DENISE AVILA GONCALVES - GLOBAL SERVICE IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER, US CARRIER RELATIONS MANAGER

Hollister, Calif.—Continental Who’s Who recognizes Denise Avila Goncalves as a Pinnacle Professional Member in recognition of her contributions to the Telecommunications field.

Goncalves started her career in the banking industry prior to taking an entry-level position with Mblox, a telecommunications company providing MMS and SMS messaging to its customers. She worked her way up to a position as Global Service Implementation Manager/U.S. Carrier Relations Manager.

“I am a quick learner with the ability to easily transfer skills to a new position in a new industry,” Goncalves said. “I have an excellent work ethic, solid technical skills and strong problem-solving skills. I process multiple tasks concurrently with motivation for resolution.”

In her role, Goncalves specialized in global service implementation and carrier (supplier) relationship management. She also utilized expertise in client relations, mentoring, SMS information systems, team building and management.
 
“I am detail-oriented and strategically organized to provide optimal service to clients and vendors while providing excellent communication,” Goncalves said. “My goals are to continue learning various aspects of the telecommunications industry and become an overall subject matter expert.”

Goncalves earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business and Liberal Arts from West Valley Community College. To further her professional development, she is a member of Women in Wireless and CTIA – The Wireless Association.
In recognition of her outstanding accomplishments in the field, Goncalves has been honored by Women of Distinction Magazine. 

When not working, Goncalves volunteers with several Portuguese organizations – she has served as the President of the Portuguese Athletic Club as well as the Rehearsal Director for the Tempos de Outora Portuguese Folklore Dance Group. “I want to continue traditions and keep culture alive in California,” she said.
