Anaheim, CA, June 14, 2012/Continental Who’s Who/- Dr. Dianne L. De Mille, Ph.D., M.S. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of 40+ Years of Excellence. Dianne is one of the Founding Board Members of Global-Educational-Technologies, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) dedicated to making a positive impact on the quality of life for at-risk, underserved populations, using the vehicle of Education.

 

In her current role, Dianne specializes in Education; Mathematics; Management of Grants, and teaching research courses for Masters’ Degree students. Her experience includes Guidance of Administrators and Teachers in Mathematics and Assessment; Standards-Based Instruction; as well as Curriculum Writing. Dianne has coordinated, presented, and implemented ongoing professional development for mathematics, assessment, professional learning communities, analysis and comparative study of achievement data and quality evaluation, district and site development with emphasis on mathematics instruction to meet the needs of all learners including Response to Intervention in Secondary Mathematics. Dianne is also extremely passionate about working with teachers to increase achievement for all students, especially English Language Learners and Hispanic students.

 

Throughout her career, Dianne has received extensive recognition for her dedication to the teaching profession. Dianne was named 2010/2011 National Association of Professional Women, Professional Woman of the Year for her work as an Innovative Educator with a Vision to Serve Underprivileged Communities. Additionally, she was chosen for the California State Board Review Panel for AB466 Mathematics Providers in 2002 and for the American College Testing (ACT) Review Panel in 1996, 1998, and 2002. Dianne has also been honored through her membership with Who’s Who Among American Educators, Teachers, Women, and in America beginning in 1992.

 

In addition, Dianne is a member of numerous prestigious professional organizations. She is the Conference Coordinator for the Annual Conferences in 2013 and 2014 and is a Member of the Board for the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM), as well as a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics; National Association of Professional Women, VIP Member; National Science Foundation, Math/Science Partnerships: Co-Principal Investigator. Dianne is on the Program Committee, Featured Speakers Chair for the California Mathematics Council and also served on the Chancellor’s Office Early Assessment Program with California State University. Furthermore, she is a member of Phi Delta Kappa; Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development; California Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development; Association of California School Administrators; California Educational Research Association; California Secondary Academy of Excellence; California Distinguished School Award Visiting Team Chair; and the Blue Ribbon School Award Visiting Team Chair. Dianne is also involved with the California Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee – Mathematics Subcommittee; California Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee – Assessment Subcommittee; Orange County Department of Education, School Assistance Intervention Team as well as the California Learning Assessment System Mathematics Development Team.

 

Dianne earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Walden University. In addition, she holds a B.A. in Mathematics and a Secondary Teaching Credential from Whittier College.
