
Florham Park, NJ — Mark T. Olesnicky, MD, is being
recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Distinguished
Physician for his decades of outstanding service in Internal Medicine and
in acknowledgment of his work within his private practice.
A seasoned Internal Medicine physician with 50 years of
experience, Dr. Olesnicky provides primary care services to adults, treating a
broad spectrum of medical conditions and performing wellness exams. He holds
particular expertise in cardiovascular disease and geriatrics. His practice is
located at 135 Columbia Turnpike, Suite 203, in Florham Park, NJ.
In pursuit of his higher learning, Dr. Olesnicky received
his Medical Degree in 1971 from the Leopold-Franzens University Faculty of
Medicine in Innsbruck, Austria. Following his medical internship with St.
Barnabas Medical Center, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Rutgers
New Jersey Medical School in 1974.
Dr. Olesnicky maintains active membership in the American
Medical Association among his professional affiliations. During his medical
career, Dr. Olesnicky was affiliated with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center,
serving as president of the medical staff from 1994-1995.
Born in Ukraine, Dr. Olesnicky immigrated to the United
States with his family after World War II. His inspiration to enter the medical
profession came from his father, Bohdan, who was also a physician.
Dr. Olesnicky wishes to dedicate this special honor to his
wife, Ludmilla, who is a pathologist. The couple met while attending medical
school together, and they have been married for 53 years. They have three
children. Their son, Boudan, is also a physician. Their youngest daughter,
Eugenia, is a professor of molecular genetics at the University of Colorado,
and their other daughter, Natalia, is a Research Coordinator for a
pharmaceutical company in Switzerland.
On a personal note, Dr. Olesnicky is fluent in English,
German, Polish, and Ukrainian.
