Weathersfield, CT - Pongsa-Pyn Muangman is recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of
Medicine in recognition of his role as a Radiologist at Radiology
Associates-Hartford.
A
community based radiology service center, Radiology Associates-Hartford has
served the Connecticut area since 1976. Dedicated to offering quality medical
services, the team at Radiology-Associates-Hartford specializes in MRI and CT
scanning, Breast Biopsies, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, Pediatrics,
Cardiovascular Imaging, Vascular & Interventional Radiology and more.
Inspired at a young age by his Dad who was the first radiologist in Thailand
and later Minister of Health in Thailand, Mr. Muangman learned his medical
techniques from his father. When asked his advice to newcomers in the industry,
Mr. Muangman states the importance of “studying hard and you have to like it.”
Mr. Muangman attributes his success to his extensive experience and observing
the changes in the profession of radiology.
Throughout the duration of his career, Mr. Muangman attained extensive
experience in the areas of pediatric and interventional radiology.
Certified by the American Board of Radiology, early in his career, Mr. Muangman
graduated with his Medical Degree in 1964 from the Chiang Mai University
Faculty of Medicine in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Thereafter, Mr. Muangman completed
his internship at New Britain General Hospital in Connecticut followed by a
residency at Hartford Hospital. Mr. Muangman undertook his fellowship training
at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.
In an effort to further enhance his professional development, Mr. Muangman is
an esteemed member of several organizations including the Radiology Society of
Connecticut, the Connecticut State Medical Society of Connecticut and the
Hartford County Medical Association.
In acknowledgment of his professional achievements, Mr. Muangman served with
distinction in the United States Army achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
When he is not working, Mr. Muangman enjoys traveling and woodcarving.
