Inspired by his uncle, a fellow primary care physician, Dr. Shah has been in practice for eighteen years. His areas of concentration include all aspects of family medicine with additional expertise working with patients suffering from asthma, anxiety phobic disorders, diabetes and migraines; as well as rhinitis and mole excision.

Moreover, Dr. Shah has further interest in nutrition and exercise counseling. Possessing Board Certification in Family Medicine, he encourages a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating among his patients. When it comes to newcomers in the medical field, Dr. Shah’s advice is “listening to patients is key; never rush and never overbook your schedule.”

Reflecting on his educational career, Dr. Shah earned his Medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He then went on to complete his Internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Residency at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL.
