Raleigh, NC ‒ Edward "TJ" May is being recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Trusted Executive for his exceptional work in the field of technology and in recognition of his work at Flexible Circuit Technologies (FCT).
Mr May is the Director of Business Development for FCT, a US-based corporation with manufacturing sites in Southern China. Mr. May is an experienced regional and national sales manager with a long career in the electronic manufacturing field. He has been in his position at FCT for one year, and has an additional 39 years of experience in the fields of manufacturing, engineering, and sales. He is specialized in management, continuous improvement, manufacturing, engineering, product development, and business development.
To prepare for his career, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He then attended Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, where he studied Business Administration and Management.
He began his sales career in 1996, working for Herco Technology as the Territory Sales Manager, and then at Viasystems from 1997-1999. From 2001-2006, Mr. May worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at ECMG. He then transitioned to the Managing Director Role at ZKNA from 2007-2017, and worked as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager at PCB Connect Inc. from 2019-2020. In his current role, Mr. May is the Director of Business Development at Flexible Circuit Technologies in Plymouth, MN.
He attributes his professional success to his engineering and technical background, along with his sales experience and ability to interact with people. In his free time, he is an NRA instructor.
