With over twenty years of medical excellence to her credit, Dr. El-Tag is a seasoned physician specializing in all facets of women’s healthcare with a strong focus in obstetrics and gynecology. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. El-Tag strives to help women facing various health plights to better understand their circumstances.
Recognized by Leading Physicians of the World, Dr. El-Tag maintains affiliation with the American Medical Association and is an esteemed Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In addition, she has been the recipient of the Anderson Williams, Gentle Hands award and Hippocrates award from Henry Ford Hospital three years in a row.
Born in a third world country, Dr. El-Tag worked her way through many adversities in order to obtain her medical degree from the University of Khartoum in Sudan, where she also completed her internship. She then went on to complete her residency in one of the nation’s best OB/GYN residency programs at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. El-Tag was honored as the Chief Resident of her class.
Dr. El-Tag’s passion and primary focus of her energy is invested in empowering and educating women to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives. She endeavors to live her life in a manner befitting a role model for all women, but most of all for her daughters.
