
Silver City, NM — Erin T. Kleismit, AG-ACNP, FNP, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Nurse Practitioner for her professional excellence in Adult-Gerontology and her unwavering dedication to serving the community at the Gila Regional Medical Center.
Gila Regional Medical
Center (GRMC) is county-owned, not-for-profit, and currently licensed as a
68-bed acute care hospital. Committed to serving, GRMC has garnered a
commendable reputation for providing exceptional quality, patient-centered care
in healing environments. The medical center consists of multiple primary care
and specialty service clinics and a cancer center, surgical center, behavioral
health unit, emergency department, and more.
Having led a distinguished career for 34 years, Ms. Erin T. Kleismit is an
adult-gerontology nurse and family nurse practitioner currently serving
patients at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, New Mexico. She
specializes in all facets of her work and takes pride in educating her patients
on their conditions. At Gila Regional Medical Center, she has committed the
past eight months to provide testing and evaluations for various medical
conditions.
Among her academic
achievements, Ms. Kleismit obtained her Diploma in Nursing (RN) from Community
Hospital in Springfield, Ohio, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing
and Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering, both from Wright State
University. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Adult Geriatric Acute
Care and a post Master of Science degree Family Nurse Practitioner from the
University of Cincinnati.
Remaining abreast of the latest advancements in his specialty, Ms. Kleismit
maintains active memberships with the American Association of Nurse
Practitioners and the New Mexico Nurse Practitioners Council.
When he is not practicing medicine, Ms. Kleismit devotes her time to regularly
donating blood with the American Heart Association.
Ms. Kleismit dedicates this honorable recognition to her parents, David and
Kathleen Bussert, and to her husband of 32 years, Mr. Richard Kleismit. They
have four children. A grateful mentee, she also dedicates this recognition to
her instructor and mentor, Nurse Practitioner Kathy Ballman.
