Strawberry Plains, TN/ Continental Who’s Who/- Gary D. Luitjens, RRT, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Healthcare. Gary is a Respiratory Therapist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Certified in Respiratory Therapy through the National Board of Respiratory Care, Gary possesses over twenty years of experience in healthcare. Presently, he works on the pulmonology and cystic fibrosis floor of the medical center where he works with with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and cystic fibrosis patients.

Recognized by Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Gary is the recipient of the Exceptional People’s award and is the author of the book “The Open Door,” which is soon to be released. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, reading and volunteer work for the Knoxville Area Rescue Mission and St. Joseph’s School District.

Reflecting on his educational career, Gary attended Southeast Community College.
