Davis, CA/ Continental Who’s Who/- Genevieve Cottraux is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Higher Education. Genevieve is the Art Collection Registrar and Collections Manager at UC Davis.

Established in 1905, UC Davis sits on a 5,300-acre campus in Davis, California. Home to an array of undergraduate, graduate and continuing professional programs, UC Davis is known as one of the top public universities in the nation.

In her current role, Genevieve specializes in arts administration and exhibitions, condition assessments, preventive conservation and museum conservation. In addition to her background in archives and special libraries, she is responsible for all cataloguing, gift processing, and general collections management duties.

Furthermore, Genevieve is go-to the person to take care of all objects in the fine arts collection, as well as the oversight and management of all objects on loan to the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art. 

Recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of The Year, Genevieve is a member of RCWR, California Association of Museums and the Western Museum Association. She is charitable towards the East Bay SCPA and enjoys cooking, reading, writing and spending time with her pets in her time outside of work.

Genevieve is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Systems and Humane Education at Saybrook University and holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), Archives/Archival Administration from San Jose State University. In her earlier years, Genevieve graduated from UC Davis with both her Master’s degree in Textile Science and Bachelor's degree in Design.
