Gilles J.L.Guittard is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among International Business Leaders. Gilles is Head of Sales EMEA – Telco at Ubee Interactive.

Gilles, as Head of Sales EMEA, drive the P&L of Ubee for the Telco market.

Prior to join Ubee, Gilles was Sales Director at Irdeto for whom he closed deals in Germany, France and Africa and at Nortel for whom he secured multi $100M deals for 2G & 3G networks.

Before that Gilles managed various projects at Alcatel and SFR through creativity, energy and focus. He is passionate in whatever he does and has a unique passion in customer satisfaction. Gilles has also been involved in many innovations, filing a patent in Fibre Optics and LASERs, demonstrating the first UMTS video call ever, and promoting emerging technologies such as Mobile Internet, UMTS, Location Based Services, and Mobile TV.

Gilles’ success can be attributed to his education as well as his enthusiasm and personal work ethics. He has earned both a Degree in Radio Frequencies from the University of Paris, an MSc in telecommunications from Telecom Paris Sud and an M.B.A. from HEC – Paris with an emphasis on International Management. He has developed a broad knowledge base in a wide spectrum of telecom areas through his work experience and personal development opportunities. Gilles is recognized for his outstanding management and leadership skills, his technological and strategic planning expertise, and his proven ability to take on challenges and excel in diverse environments.

Gilles, a former rugby player, is now a Wine Tasting expert. He mostly enjoys traveling to discover new people and cultures and learn about new wines.
