Mr. Nelson has earned degrees in financial planning and theology. Although no longer working in charitable fund-raising,he is probably best known for years of lradership in the area of personal charitanle fundraising.The Canadian Charitable Gift Annuity Association, which he chaired for several yearspresents the "Gordon NelsonAaward" yearly to recognize the person who shows leadership inCanada in the field of charitable annuitiess. For three years Gordon sat on the Board of the American Counccil on Gift Annuities in the United States as the Advisory Representative for Canada and presented seminars on cross=border charitable gifting at that Assoction's annual conferences in various U.S. cities. He was also one of the founding Board Members of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), an organization which has grown to over 3000 members across Canada Now as the President of A. G. Nelson Development Inc.,Rev.. Nelson is looking forwaedd to a bright future, hoping, for the continued growth of the company. When asked. Rev.
