Dr. Nagtalon completed her education at the Centro Escolar University School of Dentistry in the Philippines, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Fluent in both English and Filipino, the doctor explained that dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study; diagnosis; prevention; and treatment of diseases; disorders; and conditions of the oral cavity. She said that dentists diagnose and treat dental issues; help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens; clean teeth; correct bite issues; perform surgeries, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and dentures and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are in good health and function properly.

Specializing in general dentistry and TMJ, Dr. Nagtalon works with patients at her private practice, Family Dental Care., and is known to provide exceptional dental care in San Jose, California. The doctor is dedicated to providing the latest advancements in the field and is associated with the American Dental Association (ADA); California Dental Association (CDA); Santa Clara Dental Society (SCDS); and the American Academy of CranioFacial Pain (AACP).
