James Reiman has over 41 years of experience as both an Attorney and a skilled Businessperson. He currently serves as an Arbitrator and Mediator of complex domestic and international business disputes and as an independent director on corporate boards of directors, and he teaches negotiation and international arbitration. He is a skilled Commercial Trial and Business Attorney with an extensive network and years of expertise. With a global portfolio, he has served as CEO of companies in the United States, China, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

As a Faculty Member and Program Director at Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Fellowship Training/Qualification Programs, Mr. Reiman teaches and qualifies senior attorneys in International Arbitration. He also teaches negotiation to senior executives, professionals, and government officials through the Oxford Programme on Negotiation at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School and at other institutions in the United States and around the world. After working as a commercial litigator in State and Federal Courts Systems, Mr. Reiman transitioned into business.

To achieve his education, Mr. Reiman attended Columbia University, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree. He then studied at Northwestern University Law School, earning his Juris Doctor degree.

Adept in many types of roles, he spent 18 years practicing Law in Chicago, IL, before moving to a position in e-commerce business management of a NASDAQ-listed fine collectibles auctioneer. Mr. Reiman also served as the CEO and Chairman of one of China's largest cell phone retail companies, a company which he turned around and took public on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Market. He later went on to serve as the Managing Member and Principal of Aerofficient, LLC, a company that designed and manufactured aerodynamic enhancing products for the trucking industry. In that capacity, he co-invented technologies that have been awarded 19 domestic and international patents.

Mr. Reiman is the author of the book Negotiation Simplified - A Framework and Process for Understanding and Improving Negotiation Results, Amplify Publishing, Herndon, VA (2021).
