Dr. Pluth worked as Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, from 1975-1985 and Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, from 1985-1999. Throughout his career, Dr. Pluth specialized in Cardiology, Valvular Surgery, and Bypass Procedures. In addition, Dr. Pluth is the author of 130 Articles, 27 Chapters and 76 Abstracts.
