Raleigh, NC/ Continental Who’s Who/- JoDee Wiley Alpiser is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. JoDee is the Document Imaging Technician at Rex Healthcare of Raleigh, NC.
Founded in 1894, Rex Healthcare has been catering to the residents of the greater Raleigh area for over a century. Comprised of five wellness centers, cancer centers, long-term nursing, urgent care, women’s centers and more, Rex Healthcare has over 5,000 employees devoted to patient care and first class medical excellence.
JoDee began her career in the healthcare industry in 2002 as a volunteer in Heart and Vascular and Education and Development at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. After two years of being in this field, she decided this was her calling and was then hired on as an employee where she now specializes in document imaging, review and preparation of emergency room visits.
Prior to working in the health industry, JoDee worked as an executive secretary in the airline industry for AMR Corp., the parent company of American Airlines located in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. As a secretary to the Vice President of Finance, she had numerous job duties and responsibilities. She was able to utilize her technical writing and editing skills by editing and creating company correspondence and corporate forms. JoDee was also accountable for maintaining and submitting weekly and monthly reports for the Western Region.
A member of Worldwide Branding and the esteemed Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, JoDee is also a member the DAR. She enjoys horseback riding, fishing, scuba diving and travel in her spare time. She also writes poetry and has been awarded “Best Poet of The Year” by America’s Best Poets and by the National Poets Society as well. Many of JoDee’s writings have been published. Charitably, she maintains affiliation with organizations including Easter Seals, March of Dimes, United Way, National Wildlife Organization and the American Cancer Society.
JoDee attended college in Virginia and graduated in 1983 with an Associate’s degree in Computer Science. She continued her education at Texas Tech University, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Writing and Editing.
