Specializing in multimedia production and marketing communications, Ripple CG provides visual and marketing solutions to commercial, residential and forensic markets.
Possessing over twenty years of hands on experience, Joe utilizes his expertise in architectural design and animation, creative direction, 3D multimedia technology, marketing, modeling and visual communication on a daily basis. He is an active member of ICSC, PCBC, and BIA and involved with AIA, and BIS.
Inspired by George Lucas as a child, Joe was drawn to the computer graphics industry by companies such as Pixar, Blur Studios and Digital Domain. In school, planning, designing, and construction grabbed ahold of his interests over reading Shakespeare and swirling chemicals in a beaker. Joe says, “I remember the first time I saw Star Wars. I was blown away. Nobody had produced anything like it. The worlds they created, the architecture, and environments were incredible. All I knew is that I wanted to be a part of it. Unfortunately, the innovative technologies and film techniques were so avant-garde that nobody, aside from the Lucasfilm studio, knew how to develop such a production. So I thought that if I could not be a part of generating an on-screen masterpiece, I would turn to the built environment - architecture.”
Having worked for Ripple CG for six years, Joe attributes the team’s success on his relentless fervor to never give up and continually build up the company infrastructure as well as making new and lasting business connections. He states he is constantly trying to foster an environment where collaboration and teamwork bring together the best in everybody.
Joe’s biggest challenge of his career as of yet has been starting his own company in a downed economy with limited recourses and a small client base. He believes that “jumping into business is like getting married, when you have partners. It is a long-term commitment and requires you to constantly stay on top of industry trends while refining product, infrastructure and technology. Creating and sustaining Ripple CG is hard work, but I see great things for the company’s future and can’t wait to turn the page.”
When he is not working, Joe can be found spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors and volunteering for charities including Habitat for Humanity and ABC GreenHome, a project designed to provide housing to war veterans and study energy savings. Joe, a big family man, says, “I have two beautiful and intelligent daughters and a lovely wife who supports me in everything that I set my mind too.”
Looking into the future, Ripple CG is in the process of expanding services to include forensic animations, and marketing collateral. They plan to expand to international markets, open more offices, and attract new business. As always, the team will continue to produce high quality work and put our clients’ needs first.
