JOEL SHATZKY - PH.D.; AUTHOR; PLAYWRIGHT
Joel Shatzky is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Educators.
Joel taught English at SUNY Cortland for 37 years before becoming an adjunct Professor at Kingsborough Community College.
In addition to his role as Professor, Joel is an accomplished Playwright and Author. He has published twelve books on such subjects as Jewish-American Literature, Education, Multiple Sclerosis, The Economy, Fiction, as well as served as the editor of two Holocaust Memoirs.
Joel is a member of the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, as well as the Huffington Post Blog, “Educating for Democracy”. In addition, he serves as editor of the Brooklyn Society of Ethical Culture Journal.
Joel received his Ph.D. from New York University, his M.A from University of Chicago, and his B.A. from Queens College.
