He has written nine books on the archaeology, history, topography and epigraphy of Central Greece, and has edited many more such as The Greek Diaspora: From Antiquity to Modern Times, and has authored about 100 scholarly articles. Dr. Fossey is presently a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada; Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London; and Corresponding Fellow of the German Archaeological Institute. He was founding President of the Canadian Institute in Greece.
Dr. Fossey earned his DèsL (Docteur ès lettres) from Université Lyon II, France and holds an Hons B.A. from the University of Birmingham, UK.
