John E. Moran has built a distinguished career as an educational leader and entrepreneur, dedicating his work to expanding access to high quality education through innovative school management and business leadership. As president of Classical Education Management LLC, president and chief executive officer of Pineapple Cove Academy Inc., and founder of Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Inc., he has transformed educational opportunities for thousands of students and families while fostering a culture centered on academic excellence and character development.

Mr. Moran's expertise spans school management, charter school development, business consulting, executive leadership, and team building. Since founding Pineapple Cove Academy, he has overseen the growth of a thriving educational network that now includes three preschools and three charter schools. Together, the six schools serve more than 4,073 students and employ more than 495 staff members. The success of his charter school model has generated extraordinary community demand, resulting in a waiting list of approximately 4,000 students across the three charter schools. To support continued growth while preserving the organization's culture and educational mission, he established Classical Education Management LLC in 2017 to provide comprehensive management services for the expanding network.

Mr. Moran earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Long Island University. His educational background, combined with decades of entrepreneurial experience in business, retail, wholesaling, and education, has enabled him to build sustainable organizations that deliver exceptional educational opportunities while maintaining strong operational leadership.

Throughout his career, Mr. Moran has remained deeply committed to serving his community. He is an active member of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce, supports numerous local charitable organizations, and sponsors educational initiatives that benefit other schools. Among his most ambitious current projects is the development of the Wave at Pineapple Cove Academy, an Olympic size swimming facility with an estimated investment of $6 million to $7 million. Designed to support both student athletics and the surrounding community, the project reflects his long standing commitment to expanding educational and recreational opportunities for local families.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Moran enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his family. He credits much of his success to the influence of his grandfather, Heman Zimmermann, whose entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to hard work inspired his own approach to leadership and business.

Looking ahead, Mr. Moran plans to continue expanding his network of schools in partnership with local policymakers and developers while completing the Wave at Pineapple Cove Academy. Guided by a philosophy of providing quality education at a reasonable cost, preserving a strong school culture, and nurturing the unique strengths of every student, he remains committed to creating opportunities that positively impact future generations.
