Today, there is a high demand for medical and legal consultants. For specific
cases, attorneys need the help of medical professionals to help them understand
the medical issues in the case. Sixteen
years ago, Kathie created Condon Medical Legal Consultants where she resides
today as an independent Legal Nurse Consultant.
Whether it is working in cases involving toxic torts, worker’s compensation,
personal injury, medical malpractice or criminal cases, Kathie is a seasoned
nurse specializing in the areas of healthcare administration and management,
medical/legal consulting, obstetrics and gynecology, surgeries and more.
A member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, Kathie serves
on various committees on the national level. She is a member of the National
Association of Professional Women and Sigma Theta Tau. Aside from the demands
of work, she enjoys jewelry design and giving back to charities such as Kings
Ranch for Children and Breast cancer awareness.
Kathie’s advice to those entering the industry is that “it takes hard work and
dedication, don’t give up.” She plans to take a Medical Coding course in the
fall of 2015 and expanding her client base soon.
Throughout the course of her studies, Kathie graduated from the University of
Alabama at Birmingham with both her MSN and BSN degrees. She earned her
Associate’s degree in Nursing at Mississippi Delta Community College. Kathie
has an active Registered Nurse license in Alabama and attends various
continuing education activities during the year.
