Ryan's Challenge is a nonprofit organization established to fund research for Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. A rare condition, vEDS is "one of 13 classifications of a certain type of connective tissue disorder." Currently it is one of the "rarest and most severe of all the types of Ehler's-Danlos disorders." With one in every 250,000 people diagnosed with the disorder, 4 out of 5 are uninformed of their diagnosis of vEDS until a catastrophic event occurs. While there is currently no treatment or cure for vEDS, the organization is adamant about their cause. Determined to find a cure, Kyle R. Dolliver and his family established the organization to end the suffering by finding a cure.
Amassing seven months in his current position as President and CEO of Ryan's Challenge, Kyle R. Dolliver established his organization after his son was diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that affects every cell in his body. Ryan's Challenge was established in an effort to fundraise and promote awareness to this terrible disease. In looking to the future, Mr. Dolliver hopes to connect with medical professionals, healthcare providers, and corporate leaders to increase awareness leading to raising funds for research.
To further his professional development, Dolliver has partnered with several organizations including the Sam Houston State University, Texas A+M, University of Washington, and Texas Children's Hospital. Currently, Dolliver serves as owner and partner of Dolliver Enterprises.
