
Egg Harbor Township, NJ – Lauren Davis, DO, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Family Practitioner for her exceptional work as the Owner and Lead Physician at Tides of Change Wellness Collaborative LLC.
As the Owner and Lead Physician of Tides of Change Wellness Collaborative LLC, she works with patients of all ages to diagnose and treat their health issues. Dr. Davis’s specialties include integrative and functional medicine, osteopathic neuromuscular medicine, and breastfeeding medicine consultation.
Beginning her practice in 2020, Dr. Davis works alongside her fiancée Dr. Craig Wells, DO, whom she met during medical school. She believes that the structure of the body and its function are interrelated on all levels and encourages maintenance of the musculoskeletal system as a way to maintain health. Over her six years of practicing medicine, she has helped many patients feel at ease by listening closely to their needs and addressing all issues with hands on, compassionate care. In addition, Dr. Davis is a full-time attending physician at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
To receive her education, Dr. Davis attended Ursinus College, where she graduated with a degree in Biology. Active in her college, she led the Ursinus College softball team to three Centennial Conference Championships and was a member of the Tri-Beta Honors Fraternity. She next attended Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was selected as one of four people from her class to teach anatomy and osteopathic manipulation to her fellow students during medical school. She completed residency training in Social Medicine at Stony Brook University’s Southampton Campus, where she also served as Chief Resident during her final year of a combined Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine Residency. She also completed the residency training program at Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. Dr. Davis has given many lectures on topics pertaining to Anatomy, Osteopathy, Breastfeeding Medicine and Sports Medicine. She is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and is board-certified in Family Medicine/OMT by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) and Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromuscular Medicine (AOBNMM).
Her professional affiliations include the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Osteopathy, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, Osteopathic Cranial Academy, Osteopathy’s Promise to Children and the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.
Dr. Davis is a moderator for Dr. MILK, an organization for physician mothers interested in lactation knowledge, which has over 30,000 members advocating for a better understanding of lactation physiology and best breastfeeding practices. She was inspired to make a difference after her own struggles breastfeeding. She passionately advocates for women’s health and women’s sexual reproductive rights. She is also an advocate for best care and practices for the female athlete.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Davis enjoys teaching and spending time with her family at the beach. She would like to dedicate this honorable recognition to Lawrence Barnard, DO, and Francis Yoo, DO, who were her primary mentors during medical training.
