Westminster, MD- Mr. Lawrence (Larry) Holmes is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Business Professional Member and for his work in executive search and consulting fields.
Mr. Holmes earned a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in 1964. He has operated his own executive search/consulting firm named Columbia Consulting Group, which focuses on C-Level Executives mostly, for more than 40 years, with offices in Balta, NYC, London, & San Francisco. To this day, he enjoys working about 55 hours a week and likes to work with new software, such as Execs, to help them grow their firms. This keeps his mind-expanding while also networking, becoming familiar with other businesses, and ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the service being provided.
Mr. Holmes is considered an expert in People to People/Relationship Recruiting and Consulting. He notes that the key to recruiting is to motivate people who are not looking for a job. He also enjoys sharing his ideas with others. Mr. Holmes is currently on the Board of Directors of the Thoroughbred Retirement Association; Exit Planning Exchange (XPX); and ACG. One of Mr. Holmes most significant accomplishments has been being recognized as a Top 100 and Global 200 executive recruiter.
In his spare time, Mr. Holmes enjoys playing tennis. He also
hopes to have a Start-up Carbon Credits Company in the future. He has two kids,
six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren whom he loves dearly.
