Lisa A. Campbell is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Law Enforcement Professionals. Lisa is a Lieutenant Watch 2 Commander with the Waterloo, Iowa Police Department.
Lisa is responsible for a supervisory role over 25 officers and sergeants, as well as training. Lisa contributes to the Waterloo Police Department’s belief that all people should enjoy the quality of life they deserve as citizens. Lisa is committed to providing professional and sensitive community-oriented police service following the philosophy that all citizens and visitors are treated as valued customers. She works in partnership with the community to identify and address conditions that erode public safety and therefore, the quality of life. As a Lieutenant, Lisa is easily adaptable and therefore able to respond to changing times or events with constant evaluation and improvement of community service while maintaining respect for the diversity, individual rights and human dignity of all citizens.
Lisa’s Professional success has earned her many accolades in regards to her impeccable service to the community. She has received Honorable Mention Police Officer of the Year from the Fort Dodge Police Department in1990; The Public Service Award from the United States Justice Dept. in 1994; and the Certificate of Commendation for Riot in Cedar Falls, IA in 1996.
Additionally, Lisa is a member of many professional organizations including, Iowa State Police Association (1988- Present); Region V Drug Task Force (Member: 91-94, President: 93-94); D.A.R.E., Iowa Police Chief’s and Officers Association (94- Present); Iowa Association of Field Trainers (98); and the National Association of Training Officers and Field Training Officers (2000). In the past, Lisa has also served as an Instructor for Iowa Law Enforcement Academy- Instructor Development Class, Firearms.
Lisa received her B.S. in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University and has also taken numerous credits at Cedarville College, Wright State University, and Iowa Central Community College.
