
Portsmouth, NH—Dr. Louis F. Clarizio is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Healthcare Provider in for his work in
the medical field.
Dr. Clarizio earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Biomedical Engineering and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Northwestern
University in Chicago Illinois. He completed his hospital-based specialty
training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Connecticut
School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Clarizio is board-certified by the American
Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a Diplomate of the
International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Diplomate of the American
Society of Osseointegration, and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Clarizio DDS PA Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center. He has been in
private practice in Seacoast, New Hampshire since 1987 and currently maintains
offices in Portsmouth and Somersworth. Dr. Clarizio practices oral and
maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and
wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Clarizio notes that this includes techniques designed
to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal

implant design; progressive/provisional loading to alter bone physiology;
implant prosthetics; bone grafting techniques; and single-stage implants.

diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of
the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients
develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues,
perform surgeries, and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the
teeth and mouth are healthy. Oral and maxillofacial surgery specializes in
surgery of the face mouth and jaws and is an internationally recognized surgical

The doctor notes that oral and maxillofacial surgeons are
dental specialists who treat conditions, defects, injuries,, and esthetic
aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. Their training involves a
four-year graduate degree in dentistry and the completion of a minimum
