With over 36 years of professional experience, Dr. Gengenbach has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, including results-based work with pediatric and senior athletes. She is also a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. She attributes her success in both her fields to “a holistic view of challenges and a collaborative team approach to getting the best results.”
A talented writer and editor, Dr. Gengenbach co-published Conservative Management of Sports Injuries, 1st and 2nd Edition, along with her mentor and friend, nationally and internationally renowned sports chiropractor Dr. Thomas Hyde. She has also translated a chiropractic text, Chiropractic Therapy, from German to English. Dr. Gengenbach received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Logan University, and her degrees in Biology and German Language Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. She also has 24 years of experience in governmental services in both the public and private sector, which led to the development of the other branch of her business.
A Crawfordville resident for 26 years, Dr. Gengenbach is also an active volunteer and Board member of the Stephen C. Smith Memorial Regatta Foundation, which has donated proceeds from the annual regatta at Shell Point to the American Cancer Society for many years. She is a Member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Florida Chiropractic Association.
