White Bear Lake, MN- Mary Elizabeth Dunn, MD, FACS, FAANS is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Neurosurgery in recognition of her role as a Neurosurgeon at HealthEast Neurosurgery.

Having established herself as a well regarded professional in the medical
industry, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Dunn is commended for her extraordinary
contributions the field. Dr. Dunn originally wanted to be an international
economist but was drawn to physics and became a biomedical major. Attributing
her success to her hard work, compassionate nature and devotion to others, when
asked her advice to newcomers in the industry, Dr. Dunn states to “Listen to
your internal voice and follow your heart.”
Throughout the course of her education and training, Dr. Dunn attended
Creighton University School of Medicine where she received her Medical Doctor
degree. Thereafter, Dr. Dunn attended St. Joseph's Hospital where she completed
her internship and University of Minnesota where she completed her Fellowship
in Neurosurgery.
Dr. Dunn is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurosurgery, a Fellow of
the American College of Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Association of
Neurological Surgeons.
To further enhance her professional development, Dr. Dunn is a distinguished
fellow of several elite organizations including the American Board of
Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and AMA Minnesota
Medical Association.
Dr. Dunn dedicates this recognition in loving memory of Dr. Stroinik, who was
the physics professor who recognized her potential and to Dr. Allen Fruin, who
was paraplegic and exemplified courage and spirit.
