Mary "Jane" Basilio-Rolen has built a distinguished career centered on leadership, empowerment, and community impact. As a keynote speaker, trainer, and workshop facilitator, she delivers programs to organizational leaders in government, corporations, associations, schools, and women’s organizations, focusing on resilience in leadership, leadership development, empowerment training, and community focused education initiatives.
With a national reach and strong community engagement, Ms. Rolen is known for her programs that emphasize helping organizational leaders transform setbacks into fuel for a purpose-driven career, so they can create lasting impact in their work and lives. She is sought after for her practical leadership development and meaningful empowerment programs across diverse audiences.
Ms. Rolen’s professional journey includes an extensive public service career with the Social Security Administration from 1998 to 2025. During her 27 years tenure, she held increasingly responsible roles including Claims representative, Operations Supervisor, Executive Assistant to the Regional Commissioner, Team Leader for the Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity Office, and Management and Program Analyst . In addition, she is the Chief Executive Officer of Lazy Bear Cabins, LLC and JBR Consulting, LLC.
Jane is the first Filipino podcaster in GA, and the southeast. As a service to the Filipino community, she hosts “Usapang Pinoy,” produced by Georgia Asian Times, which is designed for Filipino diaspora community in Metro Atlanta, GA and the Southeast. The maiden episode was released in November of 2021 and to date, Jane has completed 100+ episodes.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics from St. Joseph’s College of Quezon City in the Philippines and holds certifications from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional , Agile Certified Practitioner and generative AI for Project Managers. Her leadership extends into community service as the Chair of the OFW GA Foundation, Inc., Chairperson of the Filipino American History Month, Past President of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia; and Board Advisor for Galing Foundation Inc., where she supports initiatives benefiting children, migrant workers, women and seniors.
Recognized as one of the 25 Most Influential Asians in Georgia and the recipient of multiple federal performance and leadership awards, including Commissioner’s Citation honors, Ms. Rolen credits her mentors - her parents in earlier years who instilled in her the values of faith, family and integrity; and in her career, Coleman Wicks for guidance throughout her journey. She dedicates her work in loving memory of her parents, Genaro O. and Pacita B. Basilio, and her late husband, William T. Rolen, Jr.
Looking ahead, Ms. Rolen remains focused on expanding her speaking and consulting efforts while continuing to grow her business and deepen her community impact, guided by a philosophy rooted in faith centered leadership, service, and integrity.
