Englewood, FL— Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Mary Sue Gregory is acknowledged as a
Top Pinnacle Professional for her contributions to the field of Non-Profit Management.
Ms. Gregory has successfully maneuvered her diverse careers in nonprofit management, engineering, and civic involvement to become a recognized leader in each endeavor. The historian is the founder of the Cades Cove Preservation Association Inc., a nonprofit established in 2001 in Maryville, Tennessee, dedicated to preserving the heritage and culture of the Cades Cove community in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She has served as the association’s president and treasurer and also played a pivotal role in the formation of the Cades Cove Preservation Association. Among her many successes is a highly anticipated publication named “Humor of the Coves” released in 2021 furthering her mission of preserving the Cades Cove community’s legacy.
In addition to her work for Cades Cove, Ms. Gregory has completed 501-3c paperwork for Rocky Branch Community Club, Blount County Historical Museum, and Englewood Area Historical Museum assisting them in becoming non-profit organizations and has served in various capacities in each. She was a constant volunteer at her children’s school, Fairview Elementary, focused on assisting children who needed additional help with classroom work. She was instrumental in working with a local contractor to install a name sign for the school with no cost to the school.
In preparation for her extensive experiences, Ms. Gregory earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Maryville College in Tennessee and also studied museum management, which she used to offer a program of museum management for the National Museum Association. She is a certified Computer-Aided Designer, Quality Analyst, and a certified iso 9001 auditor and instructor.
When considering the many accomplishments during her 20-years of professional duties. Ms. Gregory considers her work with Cades Cove to be a significant highlight.
