In business for over forty years, Burns Valkenburg & Associates LLP
provides an array of accounting, taxation and advisory services throughout the
local Medicine Hat area with additional offices in Brooks, Bow Island,
Foremost, Oyen and Maple Creek.
In her current position for seven years, Melanie brings her unique experience
in construction, agriculture, oil & gas, not for profits and retail to
Burns Valkenburg & Associates. Presently, her areas of concentration
include accounting, auditing, estate and succession planning, corporate
reorganizations, tax preparation and much more.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and is a member
of the National Association of Professional Women and Rotary. She is also a
board member on Bridges Family Programs and Medicine Hat Rotary Music Festival
Society.
A graduate of the University of Athabasca, Melanie earned her Bachelor of
Administration.
